Grooming is the application of special techniques with precision and style specific to each breed, seeking the best appearance, health and hygiene for the dog.

STEP 1 – INITIAL OBSERVATION
Inspection and palpation to determine condition of the dog at arrival.

STEP 2 – INITIAL BRUSHING
Special brushes and combs are used to assess the skin and coat condition.

STEP 3 – DE-MATTING (IF APPLICABLE)
Special brushes and products are used to brush and preserve your dog’s hair.

STEP 4 – DE-SHEDDING
Dead hair is removed with the appropiate tools for each particular dog.

STEP 5 – HAND STRIPPING (IF APPLICABLE)
If your dog is a terrier or wire-haired breed, special manual techniques are used with your consent to facilitate artificial shedding and hair rotation.

STEP 6 – NAIL CLIPPING
Nails are taken to their minimum possible length, protecting their integrity and avoiding pain or bleeding.

STEP 7 – BATHING
Warm-water bath is giving using products that protect your dog’s skin while taking care of its natural acids and fats.

STEP 8 – TOWEL DRYING
Ultra-absorbent towels are used to eliminate excess water after rinsing.

STEP 9 – BLOW-DRY
A final blow-dry and brushing is completed for aesthetic purposes.

STEP 10 – EAR CLEANING
Special products are used to clean the ears by removing dirt and drying any excess moisture from the bath.

STEP 11 – FINAL TOUCH AND HAIRCUT
Considering the breed standard and your personal recommendations, professional clippers, scissors and grooming tools are used to highlight the beauty of your dog.
